Some clinical trials have demonstrated that there is good efficacy of second generation ALK‐TKI in comparison to chemotherapy for crizotinib‐pretreated ALK‐positive NSCLC patients.9, 14 In addition, some studies showed the remarkable efficacy of next generation ALK‐TKI tailored to the secondary mutation.12, 25, 28 In the current study, each patient's in vitro ALK‐TKI‐sensitivity profile and ALK resistance mutations were used to select the next ALK‐TKI for the treatment of ALK‐TKI therapy refractory patients. Here, ALK is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
