SNORA80E and lung carcinoma: Knockdown of SNORA42 inhibited self-renewal capacity and in vitro tumorigenesis by inducing apoptosis and reducing the transcript level of stem cell-associated genes including OCT4, Nanog, Sox2, Notch1, Smo, and ABCS2, suggesting SNORA42 may associate with the expression of core stem cell transcription factors in lung cancer stem cells (44).
