Similarly, the statistically significant association was indicated between rs4784227-CASC16 and risk of breast cancer among European, Southern China, and Korean populations (Easton et al., 2007[9]; He et al., 2014[14]; Kim et al., 2012[17]; Long et al., 2010[19]); moreover, consistent with our result, there was no report by these studies for an association with receptor status. This evidence concerns the gene CASC16 and breast cancer.
