Moreover, despite the overall prevalence of CD4+ T cells in all three groups (Fig. 2c), the CD4+ T cell fraction was larger in CTR + H2O (52%) and HF + RED (50%) groups than in the HF + H2O group (44%), whereas 25% of the CD3+ T cells in the HF + H2O group were CD8+ , against the 20% in HF + RED and 16% in CTR + H2O (Fig. 2d) groups, resulting in a slightly improved CD8/CD4 cell ratio of the HF + RED group compared to HF + H2O group (Additional file 1: Figure S3). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and hydrops fetalis.
