Despite the increased α-tubulin expression observed in HF + RED dietary treatment, the relative quantification of NF-kB-p65 levels normalized to α-tubulin indicate a clear reduction in NF-kB expression upon RED consumption, suggesting that our treatment was able to counteract the overexpression of NF-kB induced by DIO, and revealing one possible mechanism behind the anti-inflammatory and anti-obesity effects exerted by the RED extract consumption on the ATM. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and Obesity.
