[6] evaluated plasma levels of soluble TNF Receptors (sTNF-R1 and sTNF-R2), IL-6, and CRP as risk markers for coronary heart disease and acute myocardial infarction among women attending the nurses’ health study (NHS) and men participating in the “Health Professionals Follow-up Study” (HPFS) in a case-control study during 8 years of follow-up.
