There are many pathogenesis theories including cholinergic theory, free radical theory, β‐amyloid theory, inflammation and immune theory, oxidative stress theory, and Tau protein gene theory; Yan Rong et al30 proposed an adenosine receptor balance theory and believed that maintaining the balance of the adenosine receptor might be a new and important way to prevent and treat AD. This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and Alzheimer disease.
