SNHG6 and gastric cancer: Another study shown that overexpression of SNHG6 functioned as a miRNA sponge and could promote cell proliferation and suppress cell apoptosis via modulating miR‐101‐3p and ZEB1 expression in gastric cancer.33 In our study, we for the first time provided substantial evidence to demonstrate that SNHG6 was apparently up‐regulated in mice MCAO brain tissues and OGD‐induced cortical neuron cells, and our results suggest that knockdown of SNHG6 may alleviated the ischaemic stroke in the mice likely via inhibiting the cell apoptosis.
