BRAF and melanoma: Phosphoproteomics analysis has been used to find the mechanism of resistance of melanoma cells to serine/threonine-protein kinase B-raf (BRAF) inhibitors, which increased MAPK10 phosphorylation and regulated the key substrates in the Rho/ROCK signaling axis, providing basis for the novel combination therapy with an mTOR inhibitor for the latter (Parker et al., 2015).
