Among them, CSMD3 and LRP1B were reported as potential TSGs.18, 19PTPRT encoding a tyrosine phosphatase to dephosphorylates STAT3 and paxillin may function as tumor suppressor.20 Mutations in IDH2 and PIK3R2 are reported to confer gain‐of‐function in cancer cells.21, 22 Using the six variant effect prediction tools, we observed that 11 mutations in IDH2 (P151H), TP53 (P180S and M207I), SMAD4 (R361H), PIK3R2 (D349N), RUNX1 (P176S), TGFBR2 (G253V and E290K), PKHD1 (G584D), and TBX22 (R151L) are predicted as deleterious mutations. This evidence concerns the gene CSMD3 and neoplasm.
