MEG3 and laryngeal carcinoma: MEG3 is found to be down‐regulated in cancer tissues and lost in some cancer cells.11 Moreover, MEG3 is characterized as a tumour suppressor as growing evidence that overexpression of MEG3 inhibits tumour cell growth, invasion and metastasis, induces tumour cell apoptosis and enhances tumour cell chemosensitivity.12 However, the role of MEG3 in laryngeal cancer remains unknown.
