To test their activity, NK cells were co-cultured with either an NK cell-susceptible cell line (K562) or pancreatic cancer cells (AsPC-1, MIA PaCa-2, Capan-1, and PANC-1) for 4 h and then assessed for direct cell killing activity and the expression level of cytokines as well as degranulation marker (CD107a).
