As an example, in human endometrial carcinoma, CrkL protein was overexpressed in 50.5% (44/87) of tumors, inhibiting cell apoptosis, upregulating the expression of cyclin D1, cyclin E, B cell lymphoma (Bcl)-2, and surviving, thus contributing to a more aggressive phenotype and resistance to apoptosis [23].
