Noticeably, and as shown in Table 2, the febrile children who were seropositive for DENV-NS1 antigen (acute dengue: n = 59/961, 6.14%) were subdivided as follows: 5.1% (3/59) of children showed mono-positivity to DENV-NS1 alone; 84.7% (50/59) and 10.2% (6/59) of them showed dual positivity to DENV-NS1 plus anti-DENV IgM or IgG antibodies respectively.
