Previous studies indicated that the G protein‐coupled receptor, class C, group 5, member A (GPRC5A) plays important pathogenic roles, and its dysregulation can promote the development of several different types of cancer via its effect on EGFR signalling.16 Our bioinformatics study showed that GPRC5A was a target gene of miR‐195 in GC cells; we also found that GPRC5A expression was upregulated in GC tissues (Figure 4A,B). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and cancer.
