Our previous studies revealed that miR-25 was elevated in the plasma of NSCLC patients and NSCLC cell lines, and miR-25 directly targeted and downregulated TP53 and MOAP1 in lung cancer and thereby reduced their downstream signaling to promote cell proliferation and suppress cell apoptosis [20, 21]. The gene discussed is MOAP1; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
