The symmetry started to break in the histograms that displayed the % mutations per chromosome (2nd column, Fig. 2e,h; note chromosome 17 that carries p53 and many other cancer molecular markers64 with a large number of mutations), and the differences became most pronounced for the histograms that compared the number of mutations per gene and per chromosome to the whole genome (3rd column, Fig. 2f,i; note chromosomes 4, 7, 17 for the OncoKB, and 4, 10, 17, 22 for the list of 137). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and cancer.
