Non-selective HDAC inhibitors, such as romidepsin, vorinostat and panobinostat, have shown a remarkable anti-MM effect in preclinical and clinical studies, with significant efficacy, along with reduced side effects, when given within combination regimens [13]; amongst pan-HDACi, panobinostat has been approved by FDA for MM treatment [48].
