Genes, such as MCM3 [85], MCM5 [86], MCM7 [87], and DSN1 [88], are associated with the pathogenesis of various cancers, such as salivary gland cancer, cervical cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma, through regulation of cell cycle, but these genes may be involved in progression of BRCA. The gene discussed is MCM5; the disease is cervical carcinoma.
