Squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCCA) has been identified as a predictive and prognostic factor for cervical cancer patients.9, 10, 11 Furthermore, the level of SCCA prior to NACT is reported to be an independent indicator of the chemotherapeutic response.12, 13 However, even in patients with equivalent pretreatment SCCA levels, LACC remains a biologically heterogeneous disease. Here, SERPINB3 is linked to cervical cancer.
