LECT2 mitigated the expression and secretion of IL-1β, IL-8, TNF-α, and IL-1β (Figure 3) dose-dependently in Apoe–/– mice fed with a Western diet, suggesting that LECT2 may inhibit atherosclerosis by alleviating inflammatory responses via Wnt/β-catenin signaling.
