With respect to angiogenic biomarkers, circulating levels of PlGF were lower (275 vs. 456 pg/mL; p < 0.01) and the sFlt-1/PlGF ratio was higher (23.2 vs. 13.3; p = 0.04) among women who developed preeclampsia compared to those that did not. Here, PGF is linked to preeclampsia.
