FAT4 was first identified in a mouse mammary epithelial cell line, and played an important role in tumorigenesis and epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in many cancers.13, 14 EMT was essential for the development and metastasis of cancers,15 and the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway was involved in the process.16 Currently, rare studies have explored the relationship between miR‐107 and FAT4, and their molecular mechanism in GC. This evidence concerns the gene FAT4 and gastric cancer.
