Zhang et al22 found that miR‐107 targeted down‐regulating Siah1, promoted proliferation, migration and invasion, and inhibited apoptosis in human breast cancer cell, while Gao et al23 revealed that miR‐107 was down‐regulated in breast cancer tissue and cell lines, and could markedly suppress proliferation, cell cycle progression and invasion of breast cancer cell by inhibiting the expression of BDNF. The gene discussed is BDNF; the disease is breast carcinoma.
