RPL10 and viral infectious disease: Upon the elicitation of NIK1 (which occurs through autophosphorylation at thr-469 and thr-474) by virus infection, RPL10 is indirectly phosphorylated by NIK1 and then translocated from the cytoplasm into the nucleus, which facilitates its interaction with the L10-interacting MYB domain-containing protein (LIMYB).
