Analysis of the expression of multiple cytokines in influenza virus-infected mice revealed massive increases in the amounts of multiple cytokines, including Eotaxin, G-CSF, MCP-1, IL-10, IL-6, MIP-1β, and IP-10, from 5 to 7 days post-infection, although the levels of these cytokines were much lower at day 3 post-infection (Figure 6A). The gene discussed is CCL2; the disease is infection.
