SNHG12 and triple-negative breast carcinoma: Wang O. et al., 2017 demonstrated that C-MYC upregulates SNHG12 expression to promote cell proliferation and reduce apoptosis in triple-negative breast cancer. LncRNA SNHG12 also promotes the growth and inhibits the apoptosis of colorectal cancer cells and papillary thyroid carcinoma cells (Wang J.Z. et al., 2017; Ding et al., 2018). Yin et al. (2019) and Li et al. (2017) reported that SNHG12 can interact with miR-199a to attenuate a cerebral I/R injury via the AMPK signaling pathway under conditions of oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation.
