Particularly, lncRNA prostate cancer non-coding RNA 1 (PRNCR1), transcribed from a non-coding region of chromosome 8q24, is involved in the carcinogenesis of prostate cancer (PC) through activation of the androgen receptor [18], and lncRNA PRNCR1 polymorphisms have been correlated with various cancers, including GC [14,18,19,20,21,22,23]. The gene discussed is PRNCR1; the disease is pachyonychia congenita.
