In the present study, LF-CQPC05 upregulated the mRNA and protein expression levels of LPL, PPAR-α, CYP7A1, and CPT1, and downregulated the expression levels of PPAR-γ and C/EBP- in the liver of obese mice, and thus alleviated high-fat diet-induced obesity by reducing fat accumulation in the mouse body. This evidence concerns the gene CPT1A and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
