The aim of this retrospective study is to analyse relationship of various factors—gender, smoking history, Scadding stage, results of lung function testing, calcium metabolism, endobronchial finding, CD4+/CD8+ T-cells ratio in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), and other common sarcoidosis symptoms (dyspnoea, fever, arthralgia, erythema nodosum, and chest pain)—with the presence/absence of cough in patients with sarcoidosis. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and sarcoidosis.
