At present, mutations in more than ten genes like plakophilin 2 (PKP2), desmoplakin (DSP), desmocollin 2 (DSC2), desmoglein 2 (DSG2), and junction plakoglobin (JUP) may be responsible for ARVC as have been reported [6, 7]. This evidence concerns the gene JUP and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy.
