The purpose of the present study was to determine the roles of miR-30b-3p, RECK and the AKT signaling pathway in glioma and the findings of the present study demonstrated that down-regulation of miR-30b-3p could inhibit proliferation, migration and invasion of glioma cells and tumor formation in nude mice via the inactivation of the AKT signaling pathway by up-regulating the expression of RECK. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and neoplasm.
