We also extended the investigation to a more aggressive form of non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) driven by the KRasG12D oncogene combined with loss of the tumor suppressor p53 (p53f/f;KRas;Apln+/y and p53f/f;KRas;Apln−/y; DuPage et al, 2009). The gene discussed is KRAS; the disease is lung cancer.
