TP53 and cancer: The long intergenic non-coding RNA LINC-ROR is overexpressed in several human cancers and has been implicated in tumorigenesis in particular because of its stabilizing function of c-Myc RNA [55], a hallmark of I-BET action, and suppression of the p53 pathway [56] which is clearly upregulated in the I-BET-sensitive MV4;11 upon I-BET treatment (Fig. 5c).
