NPPB and atrial fibrillation: The serum BNP levels (81.8 ± 120.0 vs. 42.2 ± 44.7 pg/ml, P = 0.001) were higher and VERAF (18% vs. 9.3%, P<0.001), ERAF-1M (27% vs. 7.1%, P = 0.001) and ERAF-3M (33% vs. 2.2%, P<0.001) were more frequently observed in the patients with true AF recurrence than those without (Table 5).
