PPARG ligands have been shown to have anti-proliferative effect in a variety of cancers including breast, colon, prostate, bladder, lung and ovarian cancer (Li et al., 2006; Annicotte et al., 2007; Mansure et al., 2009; Dai and Wang, 2010; Kotta-Loizou et al., 2012; Luo et al., 2015).
