Some studies with soy isoflavones show an adverse effect on breast cancer (largely postmenopausal, ER positive, HER2 negative, and T1 tumor stage number) [115], most show no effect (healthy pre- and postmenopausal at high risk for breast cancer) [116,117], while green tea showed beneficial effects in postmenopausal women with either hormone receptor positive or negative breast cancer [118,119].
