Although there are studies about this incretin for isomaltulose and sucromalt in healthy subjects [46], other studies have reported benefits in individuals with metabolic syndrome, obesity and DM2 after isomaltulose versus sucrose consumption [31,58,59,60], but few have compared the effects of cross-consumption of pre-loads elaborated with these types of carbohydrates in DM2.
