In concordance with serum observations in an osteoporosis model (Zeng et al., 2017), our results indicated that ART treatment not only restored the expression of OPG, but also reduced the expression of RANKL and decreased the RANKL/OPG ratio to a level comparable to that in sham group, thereby blocking osteoclastogenesis and bone resorptive function. This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF11B and osteoporosis.
