Arnett et al. have reported that anti-TNF drugs (e.g., infliximab and etanercept) may be effective in CFS patients due to their anti-inflammatory properties [83]; furthermore, they have reported that a combination of TNF-binding protein, IL-1 receptor antagonist, and anti-IL-6 monoclonal antibody might be effective for treatment of CFS [15]. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and myalgic encephalomeyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.
