MAP3K14 and ischemic stroke: In the analysis of CRP as a continuous variable, 1 SD (1.69 mg/L) increase in hs-CRP was associated with an 8% higher risk of MI (model 2, HR: 1.08, 95% CI: 1.04–1.12) and an 11% higher risk of ischemic stroke (model 2, HR: 1.11, 95% CI: 1.06–1.16).
