α-Syn serum concentrations showed the same pattern as SIRT2 and were significantly (p < 0.0001) elevated in PD (38.34 ± 6.32 ng/μL, 95% CI: 36.81–39.87) as compared to GC (32.92 ± 4.81 ng/μL, 95% CI: 31.75–34.08; Supplementary Figure S2A).
