The results of our study showed that after the inhibition of ITGB4 phosphorylation at Y1510 the level of p-ERK1/2 was significantly decreased (Figure, 6D), implying that ERK1/2 promotes the invasion and metastasis of pancreatic cancer cells via the MAPK/MEK/ERK signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene ITGB4 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
