Recently, a study in a model of LL/2 lung cancer and B16-F10 melanoma, compared the effect of the dose per fraction of a so-called “conventionally fractionated” pattern (9x4Gy) and another hypo-fractionated (2×11.5Gy), both having a spread of 9 days and the same BED, in combination with an anti-programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) [15]. The gene discussed is PDCD1; the disease is lung carcinoma.
