DUSP6 is enriched in HER2-positive breast cancer tumor [23], the overexpression of which confers resistance to tamoxifen endocrine therapy [4,24], and we previously showed that DUSP6 knockdown by RNA interference increased CSC formation but inhibited cell proliferation in TNBC cell lines in vitro [4,21]. The gene discussed is DUSP6; the disease is breast carcinoma.
