During the multivariate analysis (Table 2), both environmental exposure to malaria (aHR = 1.3, 95%CI [1.11–1.48], p < 10−3) and s-HLAG at ANV1, used as quantitative variable, (aHR = 1.02, 95%CI [1.01–1.03], p = 0.01) remained significantly associated with the risk of first infection.
