SLAMF7 and plasma cell myeloma: Daratumumab is capable of inducing complement dependent cytotoxicity, antibody dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) by NK cells, and antibody dependent cell phagocytosis (ADCP) by macrophages (191, 192), while elotuzumab acts primarily through ADCC and enhancement of anti-myeloma NK cell activity by crosslinking SLAMF7 on the two cell types (193–195) (Figure 4).
