IL17A and infection: Th17 cells generated in the first week mostly expressed IL-22 with IL-17A, or just IL-17A in either condition (Figures 2A and 2B) and started expressing IFN-γ, especially in C.-rodentium-infected mice, in the later phase of the infection (at 2 and 4 weeks), consistent with published reports on SFB- and C.-rodentium-elicited T cells (Atarashi et al., 2015).
