MAPK3 and melanoma: In the present study, we show for the first time that miR-126-3p was down-regulated in melanoma cells with acquired resistance to the BRAFi dabrafenib and that restoration of miR-126-3p expression in those cells promoted cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase, reduced the levels of phosphorylated ERK1/2 and/or AKT, and caused a significant inhibition of proliferation and invasiveness.
