IL17A and cancer: STAT‐3 is downstream of a number of cytokines, including IL‐6, IL‐17, IL‐21 and IL‐23.33 At the same time, STAT‐3 is necessary for exhibition of anti‐inflammatory effects of IL‐10 34, 35, 36 and IL‐10 production.37, 38 Similarly, STAT3 signalling has been identified in cancer inflammation, neuronal differentiation 39 and in tendon healing or pathology.40 Our signalling data presented a novel role of STAT3 signalling axis in ASA‐induced IL‐10 and TIMP‐3 expression of TSCs, and that were related to ASA‐inhibited tendinopathy inflammation and scar formation.
