The heatmap (Fig. 4c) shows that patients with high expression of FOXF2 or BRGs in tumors had a higher frequency (47/181 or 34/115) of suffering bone-only metastasis than those with low expression of FOXF2 or BRGs in tumors (14/126 or 27/192; Fig. 4d), indicating that breast cancers with high expression of FOXF2 or coexpression of FOXF2 and BRGs preferentially metastasize to bone. This evidence concerns the gene FOXF2 and breast carcinoma.
