Interestingly, it was known that a high proportion of ovarian and breast tumors had amplification of the 20q11 region, in which eEF1A2 maps, [30,31] and Anand et al., demonstrated that 14/53 of ovarian tumors brought amplifications of the region surrounding EEF1A2 gene [29]. This evidence concerns the gene EEF1A2 and ovarian neoplasm.
